Go Dodgers!  How about a 1981 redux?  But these bullpen games make me nervous.

That result worked for me. If we lose to the Dodgers it will be sad but see you next year. If we lost to the Mets we’d never, ever hear the end of it.

Well, Hinds isn't best of seven. I am only in trouble if the Yankees are on the brink of sweeping the Dodgers in game 4.

In '96, we went to see the play Taking Sides. Show ended, we ran out and found a bar on 8th Avenue just in time to see Charlie Hayes catch the pop fly to end Game 6 and have the Yanks clinch their first World Series since '78.

My first living here would have been 1998, probably at home. The successive wins, at least two of them and maybe three, would have been in the company of Mr Manitoba in his eponymous bar.

Yes, it signals that the Dodgers will lose in five games. Not four because I am busy during game four.

That hurt. The way Freeman had been hitting I thought we were home.
