hollywood
Chip Kelly at UCLA is under immense pressure to deliver this year for the Bruins. He's got the staff he wants. He's got a ton of scholarships. He's got some excellent players. Tonight his Bruins embarrassed #16 LSU. Sure, LSU had a heavy load of home town worries. Sure Coach Obergon is under a lot of pressure to deliver a winner. Put all that aside, UCLA dominated the Tigers and is now 2-0. Look out Pac 12.
hollywood
Guess I'm living in the past, mods. Supposed to be 2021-2022.
hollywood
[still need a date correction] Meanwhile Alabama beat Miami and Notre Dame slipped past Florida State. Texas beat Louisiana. This week could be more intriguing. Seems like offense is the order of the day. Who has a good defense?
hollywood
Orgeron on the hot seat at LSU? https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/ncaafb/there-s-already-speculation-about-coach-o-s-potential-replacement/ar-AAO7Zah?ocid=winp1taskbar [thanks, Aaron]

The 'Canes didn't cross midfield until their last possession of the 1st half 😆 😎 Final score 44-13. A paltry 88 yards rushing, 178 passing. Barring more injuries, this might be the best defense of the Saban era.
Anthony Bonner
178 yards in the air? Why Sabans script for how you are overrating his team practically writes itself. ( We're not overrating them)
hollywood
I watched as the Razorbacks humbled the Longhorns. Sark, you need a better defense. That said, you SEC folks need to look out for the Pigs.

hollywood
Unbelievable. UCLA managed to lose 40-37 to a crippled QB. Mr. Kelly, start putting out feelers for your next job. BTW, your pass defense sucks.
hollywood
KJ Jefferson of Arkansas got hurt but the Razorbacks still beat the favored Aggies. Next week could be a key game against the Georgia Bulldogs. Will Jefferson recover? Will he lead his team to an upset victory over Georgia?
hollywood
So Georgia routed Arkansas. Alabama is putting Ole Miss away. Texas got a monkey off it's back by besting TCU in Fort Worth. The stakes are high for next week's Red River Rivalry.
hollywood
Be gone, Chip Kelly. Your idea of pass defense is an all out blitz. If the blitz fails your opponent gets a TD. Hence UCLA got creamed by ASU.
hollywood
So Chip Kelly and his wounded QB managed to beat no win Arizona. Now, UCLA has to face a murderer's row of tough PAC 12 teams (Washington, Oregon and Utah). Good luck. Amazingly, Alabama lost to A&M (hey, you can't win forever, but the season isn't over). I'm still scratching my head wondering how Texas with such a great first 3 minutes managed to fall to OU. An OU v. Alabama game might be interesting, but as the score in the Texas game showed OU hasn't much defense (other than ball stripping).
hollywood
UCLA stomped USC so it seems Chip Kelly has saved his job for another year. Meanwhile, Steve Sarkisian is enduring a terrible year with the Longhorns. Better build back better next year, Steve.
