Dissing evil Tina Fey (and the restaurants where she's safe from spit in her soup) aside, it's unclear that the vaccine requirement is serving any purpose right now with the unvaxxed only twice as likely to get infected (vs 12x more likely in the before times)

But aren't the unvaxxed, provided they haven't previously had Covid, more likely to strain the health care system, such that it is?

And also quite a bit more likely to get sick, no?

Yes and yes, but how is that related to whether they can be in a dining room? Plus of course as the size of the holdout group shrinks, the more likely the remaining ones are to have fake cards and such. (not to mention having one shot of jnj is still considered fully vaxxed)

Eh. The city was happy to keep dining rooms open a few weeks ago when the risk of infection was 10x what it is today, so it seems like avoiding a < 1.1x increase from unvaxxed in the room can't really be about public health any longer. And if it is then people who can't get vaxxed shouldn't be in dining rooms.
