Sneakeater
OTOH, you have head cheese.
Wilfrid
Two and a half pounds of headcheese. I also have half the Em banh mi because I think eating the whole thing would have killed me.
Wilfrid
Snowflakes in Harlem. Like individual snow flakes you can count, not exactly a blizzard.
Wilfrid
And now the first steady snowfall I've seen this year. We'll see if it sticks. (Sorry, my desk faces the window so I do notice the weather.)
Orik
Not only did it not stick, but when I went out around midnight that day, it was in the 60s (which as far as I'm concerned is short sleeve weather)
Wilfrid
And I am now seeing snowflakes again. As well as bright sunshine.
rozrapp
It’s Feb. 16th, and the outside temperature in Morganville, NJ., is — 70 degrees!
Wilfrid
Mid-60s here in Harlem. I just walked a few blocks. Could be spring.
StephanieL
Meanwhile, here in the Bay Area, this morning I had to scrape ice off my car windshield for what feels like the umpteenth time this winter.
Wilfrid
I just wrapped myself in a scarf because there is a draft from the window behind my reading chair and I am not moving the chair. This had me thinking about all the scarves, hats, gloves and a big overcoat I haven’t touched this winter. I thought I needed new snow boots too, but no. Yet, anyway. StephanieL
The mountains just north of Livermore yesterday. This is maybe 15-20 miles from me. The paper ran pictures of skiers in the Berkeley Hills and snowmen in Saratoga and Boulder Creek.
small h
Wow! Dramatic.
Orik
I walked through some of the wettest, heaviest snow ever, and there was thunder in the background, in February. Seriously.
Wilfrid
Where? We have a dust on top of cars in Harlem, nothing on the street. I didn’t see it coming down, allegedly working.
