La Bonne Soupe. Yesterday, I took my youthful ward to lunch at La Bonne Soupe almost 50 years to the day when I was taken there by her Great-Grandmother at pretty much the same age. She enjoyed her lunch but was mostly unmoved by my nostalgia.

It was pretty enjoyable and I didn't even have to choose the least expensive thing on the menu.

I agree with you. But…There is no chicken of any kind on the regular menu. (I just checked.) Perhaps, it was a daily special?
