It's kind of remarkable when you think about it.

I don't know a single person who doesn't think Vin Scully was the greatest baseball sportscaster of all time.

Not one.

That kind of universal acclaim doesn't happen very often.

(I mean, we all here know a person who doesn't like The Beatles.)

An older friend was mentioning the days of listening to Red Barber and Mel Allen and Scully were pretty great.

I put on a pre-game show yesterday and other than the screaming and yelling, all they talk about is betting. Vin probably had enough of that shit.

Sorry Sneak, no real disagreement (or major agreement for that matter).  A long time ago, I thought his name was Vince Cully.  Other than that, I got nothing.
