You seem drawn toward giving the muffalatkes (no, this is bad, try again, small h) a Frenchified name, which I guess does make them sound elegant.

And this sounds like part the NATO phonetic alphabet. One of my friends suggested pratkin, which I told him might be an article of clothing.
