StephanieL
Three-bean stew (RG Mayacobas, Snowcaps, and Whipples) with crushed tomatoes and chopped cherry tomatoes, plus lots of Middle Easter/North African spices (a little of this and a little of that). Baked in the oven until the beans got nice and soft.
Diancecht
insalata di pomodori e cipolle minestrone i had ordered some dinner from bottega on friday and got the worst minestrone ever. it was basically bland bean soup with a chunk of carrot; campbell’s would have been an improvement. the pasta was fine. joethefoodie
These pork chops (Red Wattle) came from Heritage Meats... I was going to give them the sous vide treatment, but as @Sneakeater mentioned about last night, it wasn't crazy hot so I just pan fried them...which isn't perfect due to the bone, but it worked... Carved Taken off the bone, with a pan sauce. And well-cooked tater tots!! And because we're healthy - Roasted cabbage and peppers. A Nathan K dry riesling.
Wilfrid
Chicken heart tacos with crema and cilantro but I forgot to photograph them. On Mission “carb balance” tortillas.
voyager
6th night in the country. Freaking hot the entire time. GOING HOME TO THE BLESSED FOG TOMORROW. Tonight's early supper = scorched zucchini, chilis rellenos + fresh tomato/chili sauce + crema. Ugly but good.
joethefoodie
Tuesday... Orecchiette with raw heirloom tomatoes, basil, Parmigiano Reggiano, EVOO. Jersey white corn on the cob alongside. Wednesday... Round bone shoulder lamb chops, mushrooms, French potato salad, tomatoes, pan sauce. The lamb chop and the potato salad are right out of Jacques Pépin.

Is the guy wearing the backwards baseball cap (and undoubtedly shorts) at the same venue, or next door?
StephanieL
Lamb merguez from the local butcher with homemade flatbread (it has a little yogurt in the dough) and a tomato-cucumber-green olive salad.
joethefoodie
Oh Raffetto's, how do I love thee...because I don't have to do much when you're in the house! In a little leftover stock from my recent paella, butter, herbs, Parmigiano Reggiano. I don't even have to schlep to Houston Street, as Formaggio carries this variety! Steamed broccoli dressed with olive oil, garlic, crushed chilis, lemon.
Sneakeater
I can feel a schlep to Houston Street coming on my part.

I might have mentioned this was Gallow Green on top of the McKittrick Hotel.
