Hopefully nothing will happen this year to make this a long thread.

But I was just watching David Byrne performing “This is a Life” with Mitski.

Earlier today I walked by CBGBs (okay, John Varvatos). It’s rare I quote the Grateful Dead, but what a long, strange trip it’s been.

Only ones I haven't seen are Elvis, All Quiet and Avatar. And of the ones I've seen, I thought Women Talking was the best. Everything Everywhere was good too, but very flashy and (according to me, but not some other people I know) not very affecting, story-wise. Fabelmans was very Oscar-y, but also very Spielberg-y, and I think he's out of fashion. I liked Triangle a lot - not as much as Force Majeure, though - but it probably lost because there was A LOT of gratuitous vomiting. Banshees is a small movie, and we have to wait a few more years for one of those, 'cause Nomadland just won two years ago. Don't get me started on Top Gun.

I thought this was unwatchable.  Which is interesting, because it's the only part of the show I watched.
