MitchW Posted March 27, 2025 Posted March 27, 2025 (edited) All I can do is offer this quote from the greatest NFL receiver of all time, when asked why he didn't do anything crazy or demonstrative after making a catch or scoring a touchdown: Quote On why he didn’t have a touchdown dance: “My first year I think a couple of games I tried to have some kind of identity, something that was going to separate me from everyone else. I tried to dance, and I looked at myself, and I looked crazy doing it, so I decided not to do it anymore. That’s when I came up with, ‘Just act like you’ve been there.’ Just give the ball to the official. … Edited March 27, 2025 by MitchW 1 Quote

hollywood Posted January 19 Author Posted January 19 Caleb Williams completed the Hail Mary of all Hail Marys but somehow the Rams won in OT. Quote
StephanieL Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Seahawks vs. Patriots. Yawn. Hype is heavy in the Bay Area. Pregame and halftime music will be the high point for sure. 1 Quote
Steve R. Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Actually, I think this match-up holds a lot of interest. I doubt that I would plan to watch much of this year's game if it included the Eagles, Ravens, Chiefs or maybe even the Bills. It'll be interesting to see what these QB's can do, although we'll probably see more of the less than perfect decision making that separates them from the elite. Quote
MitchW Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Darnold has certainly played these last couple of games at an elite level. Quote

I will search out the pregame because I think Green Day will be kind of interesting. We know Conejon Malo will be interesting. Quote
Wilfrid Posted February 8 Posted February 8 There's not usually much demand for a Super Bowl party at my place but for some reason my Spanish-speaking family are descending on me this year with great excitement, bringing appetizer platters and White Claws. Are they Seahawk fans, maybe? Quote
hollywood Posted February 8 Author Posted February 8 Maybe they are Green Day fans? Or wanting to see Bad Bunny's 13 minutes?? Quote
StephanieL Posted February 8 Posted February 8 Guessing the latter. Our local Puerto Rican restaurant is running Bad Bunny-themed specials today. Quote
