I've heard through the grapevine that MF member Maureen O'Reilly passed away yesterday.  I can't remember what her screen name was, as there are many folks here whose real name (or full name) I've never learned.

It broke my heart to see her husband post about it on Facebook yesterday. She was such a brilliant woman and so kind. I will miss her terribly.

I don't remember it. I might have been able to track it down by stuff she might have posted about, but I think all the old stuff is gone, right?

I've done the same with Deb Van D & Lauren.  Deb couldn't remember & Lauren hasn't responded yet.

apparently the username may have been "irishcream". i can't remember that username at all on mouthfuls, so either this was her egullet username or she ddn't post very much here--or not since the very early days. does that name ring a bell for anyone else?

I do remember Irish Cream but I don't recall her posting much here. She did post a bit on eG, but it was a long time ago. She was so active in her volunteer work and travels that she just didn't seem to have the time for it.

The Celebration of Maureen O'Reilly life is just three weeks away. It will be held at 1111 Hermann Drive in Houston at 4pm on Saturday, May 31. It will also be shown live on Zoom. For purposes if planning parking, event space and refreshments, we need a count of those who will be attending in person. For those attending via Zoom, I also need your confirmation ans email address to send you the Zoom invitation. Please let me know if you plan to attend either in person or via Zoom by emailing your intention to rdpulver1@yahoo.com.
