Wilfrid Posted April 26, 2025 Posted April 26, 2025 I haven't seen one of those recently. I am heartbroken that my local supermarket hasn't had duck eggs for months, I think because of the flu and providers suspending or sadly closing. Quote
small h Posted April 27, 2025 Posted April 27, 2025 Definitely duck eggs at USQ. Also pheasant. Not sure about today, but recently. Quote

small h Posted May 15, 2025 Posted May 15, 2025 Some weeks ago, Mushroom Queens at USQ were giving away spent mushroom blocks to use as compost. I took one and mixed it with the potting soil for my balcony plants. Behold! I am growing accidental mushrooms! 5 Quote

Same producer, Utopihen (Penn). Maybe a dollar more expensive. But very happy after these no-duck months. Quote
StephanieL Posted August 2, 2025 Posted August 2, 2025 I managed to find a little farmer's market not far from the Long Beach Convention Center. Let's see if I can successfully get these pluots and figs home tomorrow. Quote
