Anthony Bonner Posted July 8, 2025 Posted July 8, 2025 (edited) This place opened last fall. Finally had a chance to stop by. Chef is the former Ko Chef. Nothing quite as adventurous here, tho the non-mains were by NJ standards very interesting, and the Mains while mostly popular proteins came with garnishes a little more interesting than the norm. Were it not an hour from my house I'd be here a lot. Good wine list as well. Can't think of a place in NJ I'd eat at over this place these days. Tho have not been to Lita or any of the JC places. MitchW Posted October 21, 2025 Posted October 21, 2025 Sergeantsville Inn x Smithereens For a special anniversary edition of our guest chef series, we’re bringing in Chef Sean Gray for one night only, on Tuesday, November 11th. Now helming the kitchen at The Sergeantsville Inn in Hunterdon County, NJ, Sean was previously the executive chef of two Michelin-starred Momofuku Ko, where he worked with both Nick and Nikita (though, as chance would have it, not all at the same time). Anthony Bonner Posted January 22 Author Posted January 22 this place is still the best around although it is slowly being discovered. Too bad its a hike from me. Generally post-covid food around here has gotten worse. Quote
