Pace had been courted by late baseball great Curt Flood in 1966 when he saw her as a bachelorette contestant on the game show The Dating Game.

IIRC Curt lost at the Supreme Court upholding baseball's reserve clause.  Times changed but Curt was the pioneer.

Memorable in I Spy, Days of Our Lives and Peyton Place and then almost every prime time show that we were allowed to watch as kids. She played the role of Gayle Sayers' wife opposite Billy Dee Williams in Brian's Song, I saw that movie too many times because my middle school was named after Brian Piccolo. Fun fact, she was married to Don Mitchell who played Mark in Ironside before her marriage to Curt Flood.
