Walked by that newish place Turquoise on E. 81. Nice fish menu - lots of whole fish, and meditarannean stuff. Not wacky expensive, believe it or not. If they do all the fish well, might be nice. N

I went a few months ago. I liked the wings; the potato mochi are good if you don't mind the typical mochi texture. They're served with a sweetish sauce and lots of butter. The place really is small

Since I've been bemoaning the cider choices in our fair city for quite a while now, I'm pretty excited about Wassail.

 

But does it have to go this far...

 

Lim and Sandler hope to bring drinkers on the same journey they made in discovering cider. "We're really excited about raising public awareness about cider being an agricultural product and a food-friendly product," says Sandler. "We'll do food pairings, educational events, and seminars around cider so people can learn." And they'll hold some of those classes in the semi-private room they're building in the back of the space.
