The crepe we had didn’t have a single grain in it, as far as we could tell. Also she replaced the tater tots with fries, which did not make me happy. Yeah - agreed on salt levels. The chef/owner was expediting, but she blew out of there within 30 minutes of us getting there; I asked where she was headed, and she said it was her only night off and she was getting out of there! Fries were...not as good as others. Both the burger banh mi and the pho interest me. I wish there were a couple of other vegetable centric dishes on the menu. 2 hours ago, Seth Gordon said: Man, the price has gone up. I think it was like 19 when I first had it. But I guess that’s the case everywhere with everything… Oh I just looked at my receipt; only $22 (sorry) for that but we did end up dropping well over $150, including the less than inspiring wines we had. Hanoi House still worthy?
Wilfrid
Anything known about Au Jus? Mini-chainlet uptown offering slow roast meats and Oklahoma BBQ, including by the pound. I have no particular idea about what Oklahoma BBQ is, but there is a lot on this menu that I would like to eat. I recall nothing about it, just happened to see one of them today. It would. But that supposes she has a small business owner’s policy that includes loss from fire.
Anthony Bonner
fire policy for a resto can't be cheap given prevalence.

joethefoodie
I'm only curious about this place until the first time I go... https://ny.eater.com/2022/5/9/23058727/le-dive-wine-bar-lower-east-side-opening-menu-nyc Quote Veteran restaurateur Jon Neidich — the operator behind famed downtown nightlife spot Acme, as well as hip Williamsburg spots Le Crocodile and Bar Blondeau — is headed to the Lower East Side to open Le Dive, a natural wine bar and cafe with a Parisian bent in the so-called Dimes Square area of the neighborhood, at 37 Canal Street, at Ludlow Street, on May 10.
