Thought we needed a thread on places we walk by, places we hear about, places we want feedback on without starting a thread about it (yet)...   So last night we walked by Lure Fishbar. I love the l

I went a few months ago. I liked the wings; the potato mochi are good if you don't mind the typical mochi texture. They're served with a sweetish sauce and lots of butter. The place really is small

I've heard the omakase thing might not happen either but maybe that's changed recently.

I walk by often (like this morning) and it just seems as if nothing is going on...yet the pictures tell a different story, I guess.  At least of the allegedly soon-to-be newer Scarr's across the street.

Surprisingly, I never see any customers at the DiFara's at the Seaport.

You're not going to believe this, but Shaun Hergatt is cooking at a spa in Midwood.

When I checked Vestry’s site, I saw that they received a Michelin star and Hergatt is the chef. So, it appears he’s cooking at both places or, at least, responsible for the menus at the spa’s dining options.

This can never be as great an experience as the restaurant in the Russian spa on Fulton Street.

Can concur. I went to a bachelorette party there.
