Thanks for letting us know about this Wendy.

I did not go insane exactly (I didn't buy a single piece of Italian pottery, or any Mauviel) but I did buy a nice handful of toys, including a Thermometer whisk for Bill so he can make ice-cream more easily, and a japanese style Henkel knife I've been wanting that was marked down 45%

Margaret, I'm with you. I've spent at least $300. The biggest thing I bought was a beautiful 9-quart Le Creuset for a mere $167 (pretty good considering Rocky and I saw them at the outlet mall yesterday for $200). I also bought a global santoku knife with a granton edge that I have used exclusivly since I bought it. I love that knife.

City Kitchens is very, very dangerous for me.

Just in time for my birthday, got this note from a friend

City Kitchens is having their 'birthday' sale - everything is 20% off right now. All their Deruta is 40% off.

Does anyone know whether they sell Prep Taxis? I can't seem to find one anywhere in France, and don't know what possessed me to come here without one. If you're there, and you see one, and you're willing to send it to me, I'll treat you to a great dinner next time you're in the neighborhood (plus pay for the thing itself and the shipping, of course!)
