Le Pichet sounds good too! and very reasonable. christ, decisions, decisions! now i don't know where to go   Union first, i think. normally i'd go to all three but have to be at the airport

Just saw that Ethan has been included among the 2008 crop of F&W Best New Chefs. Congrats! After being in business for 4.5 years, I'm sure Ethan is glad to know that he's still "new".   Lon

I think Union is where I had the most brilliant mignonette sauce ever, made with verjus instead of vinegar. It's little touches like that that make a restaurant truly memorable, and remind me how good a chef can be.

 

Damn, I need to get back to Seattle, too!

Ten years! I'm afraid I missed that lunch, as I was only 19 at the time...

 

Union was the site of so many wonderful meals, sigh. And Lark is still a gem.
