laurel
We had a great time cooking from last year's Lampreia apple tasting menu cookbook put out by Hillel Cooperman of tastingmenu.com. Anyone up for trying the new Nishino "autumn omakase" cookbook? Here's the link to the book: http://www.tastingmenu.com/autumnomakase/default.htm I haven't read through the whole thing, but the photography and recipes look even more amazing than the apple one. What do people think of doing a cook-together from this one? Maybe the last weekend of October or early November, since it looks like everyone's booked up for the next few weeks? I'd volunteer my place, but the kitchen is a little small for more than 2 people at a time...

Lauren
Laurel, thanks for posting this. It looks beautiful and I look forward to perusing it. I would be up for cooking from this. We could even do it at my house if the time is right. How does October 29th sound?
laurel
Thanks for volunteering to host! October 29 sounds great for me!
Guest Abra
Oct. 29 doesn't work for us, unless we bring my mother in law along, which would be an experience that I think I should spare you all! Would the following Saturday, Nov. 5 be possible?
Lauren
November 5th works for me. Laurel? Anyone else?
Guest rockdoggydog
The 5th works for me. This looks like a lot of fun! Rocky
SeaGal
I can do Nov 5th, but not Oct. 29th. Sounds like fun!
laurel
Unfortunately it seems like it'll be hard to find a date that works for everyone. I'll only be able to do it on Sun Nov 20. Since a lot of people won't be able to make it, someone else should do one at a different time . I'm going to have to limit it to 12 total because that's what I have room for at my place, and I have probably about 6 people signed up. Would anyone here be interested?
