small h Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Roseanne Barr (when she was still funny) famously pushed back against her then-husband's habit of asking her where things were by announcing that "the uterus is not a tracking device." I was reminded of this just last night when H texted me (I was at a party) to ask where the popcorn was. 3 minutes ago, Wilfrid said: Is that a boy thing? I feel I have seen that more with boys. So, yes. Quote
Wilfrid Posted February 17 Posted February 17 I don't know why I have that feeling, being a daughter-father but I definitely do. And I am sure it has been me. Recovered books (joy): Quote
maison rustique Posted February 17 Posted February 17 About a year ago I got a couple of pairs of jeans that actually fit me without having to put safety pins in the waist. Last week I could not find one pair of them. I have looked everywhere. I've finally decided they must have gotten donated by mistake in all my sorting and tossing. So, I ordered another pair that arrived yesterday. Pretty sure this means that I will walk into my closet today to discover the old pair hanging there. Quote
bloviatrix Posted February 19 Posted February 19 Today's missing objects that no one could find but me were: a hockey glove (it was under a skate) and the navy road jersey. He's shown up at at a game missing a glove and an elbow pad once in 4 years. Quote
Wilfrid Posted February 19 Posted February 19 I need a new phone case, but I guarantee it will be the brightest, most inappropriate color I can find, making it hard for the phone to go camouflage and undercover and hide around the apartment. Quote
