porkwah
Yes, I can't believe what they did.
Lauren
I was sort of watching and sort of reading the paper then, all of a sudden, I was staring at the tv with my jaw dropped! I think that it's interesting that the same two who got DUI's in December are the two who got, well, you know. (In case anyone is reading who hasn't watched the episode yet). I think that it's interesting that the same two who got DUI's in December are the two who got, well, you know. (In case anyone is reading who hasn't watched the episode yet). I haven't seen the last several episodes but I heard what happened. We were discussing that "coincidence" this morning. My colleague thinks they got <redacted> because they got the DUIs. I think they went out and got loaded after finding out they were getting <redacted>.
Wilfrid1
Oh dear. Does that mean Michelle Rodriguez is... well...
lovelynugget
I think it's more that both will have their schedules pre-empted: one with hours of community service, the other with jail time (her choice). ****SPOILER**** That last shot is obviously Michael shooting himself and not the hostage. I'm sure he let the hostage go as some sort of deal with 'The Others' in an effort to get Walt back. And of course injuring himself will throw the suspicion off himself. Those clever clever writers. I think I know what the Others and the island are about, but at this point it's hard to guess anything and be right.
Wilfrid1
I think discussion of Michelle's jail time needs to go on the Lil Kim thread.
porkwah
Oh dear. Does that mean Michelle Rodriguez is... well... When I saw this happen on TV, I wondered how you would take it. She'll still get featured in Stuff or FHM, I'm sure, don't worry.
lovelynugget
Poor Hurley! Just when it looked like he might be getting some lovin' somebody done gone and shot his girlfriend!
Blondie
I think it's more that both will have their schedules pre-empted: one with hours of community service, the other with jail time (her choice). My take is that Michelle took the jail time since she's now no longer employed in Hawaii (where she presumably would have to do the community service). She'd get it over with in 5 days and get back to LA (or wherever).
SamanthaF
We've only just has season 2 start here in the UK - will have to ignore this thread.

Stone
Anyone think it's interesting that once a woman has sex (or is about to) she gets shot?
lovelynugget
Anyone think it's interesting that once a woman has sex (or is about to) she gets shot? Actually, that whole thing with Sawyer does seem gratuitous and like an afterthought, given what happens to Ana Lucia(?) at the end, but it must be important in some future plotline. It was so random otherwise.

lovelynugget
Yes. Especially since she could have had sex with Wilfrid instead. I'm sure she didn't know she had that option. Perhaps had she known, she would have wrestled Michael for the gun and fought to LIVE!
