Wilfrid Posted October 21 Author Share Posted October 21 Memorable shows. Okay, I saw Blondie many times and briefly toured with them. Most memorable: Glasgow college gig on a Saturday night. "Denis" had just broken and it was packed. Mainy packed with blind drunk young men. The college had hung safety nets between floors in case they started throwing each other over the banisters of the staircase. Debbie had been playing dates in her usual micro-dresses. For this, she wore a vast baggy sweater and baggy pants. Didn't matter. Audience baying for her. I was down front until the swaying PA system made me too nervous. Security all along the front of the stage.
