Just got the first Rose mailing from Rosenthal!

Anybody planning their purchases yet?

We have a bit left over from last summer. it wasn't a very festive time so we did not drink much. I expect to make a serious dent in the rose champagnes we have in the cellar. I'm fond of the Drappier roses.

I still have an assorted selection from last year in the cellar, Artevino, Domaine Longval Tavel, Domaine du Dragon Cotes de Provence

Domaine de l'Olivette Bandol

Domaines Ott Cotes de Provence

Chateau Pradeaux Bandol

and

Toad Hollow Pinot, Eye of the Toad.

edited to add, but I am always looking for something good that I can find in Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Kansas or Missouri.

Hooray! Two of my faves are in at Acker Merrill: Chateau d'Oupia (Minervois) and Chateau Grande Cassagne (Costieres de Nimes). The former has more body. Both are loaded with summer fruit, crisp and quite dry. And they're only $10 a bottle.
