Tuckerman
Jesus. There are more arguments on that board in a day than there is on this one in a year. So I'm not sure what that says about where all the "toadies" (your word) are. Or maybe here everyone just luuurrrves everyone so much
omnivorette
How 'bout those Turkish cab drivers? Something else, right?
Wilfrid1
I could never figure out if they were taking a reasonable route, as the road system is so complicated, and there are so few street signs.

Tuckerman
How 'bout those Turkish cab drivers? Something else, right? Â Mumbai taxi drivers, Omni, Mumbai. You're obviously not with the programme.
Wilfrid1
The KL ones gave me most problems. They refused to use the meter for tourists, and wouldn't accept the fare if you insisted.
alexhills
I absolutely loved the south coast of Turkey when I was there a few weeks ago, but didn't make it to Istanbul so can't offer much advice. The big tourist centers seemed pretty yucky even out of season, but the smaller towns - I was in a place called Adrasan - were really lovely. Fantastic countryside and classical archeological sites. The roads were a little obscure, to say the least
omnivorette
Isn't it the same thing? They don't speak English anyway.
Wilfrid1
If I was going back, I'd probably try one of the country areas ahead of Istanbul. Always heard great things.
Tuckerman
Isn't it the same thing? They don't speak English anyway. Â Er...In India they do. You really don't know much do you. But then again you've never been to these places have you. So what would you know
omnivorette
The speak English in Mumbai? Oh, stupid me. I had no idea.
