Hiya, Lauren! Then I officially propose an outing when the weather warms to Pick-Quick in Fife. It is an outdoor burger stand, so we want to dine there when rain is not a threat. They have quite an alfresco dining room, a park-like setting with a bunch of picnic tables that are never, ever covered in bird poop (they must spend all their time cleaning, I swear). The stand has thin-ish patties, but they always use fresh beef. Fries are fresh, not frozen. It is CASH ONLY though, which just means they are doing it right. Decent shake list. I like the burger composition, they get the snap and crunch right. This is the original restaurant, the sister restaurant in Auburn is a modern version and not much like the Fife locale.
Hi, Eden! I am tempted to invite you all down this summer for burgers at Pick-Quick in Fife. Traditionally, though, BOM visits have been more highfalutin destinations of bars and such than an old timey burger stand like Pick-Quick. Do you ever make exceptions?
