Got a copy of The Foods of Israel Today. Oy vey. The many factual errors give random food blogs a good name, and Today seems to mean 1978 on average. In sharp contrast, Wolfert's The Food of Morocco - I always suspect that Wolfert improves on the original recipes, and this is no exception.

Has anyone used May Bsisu's The Arab Table?  I ask because my father wants to get the book to "share" with us (i.e., he uses the dessert recipes; we get everything else), and I wonder how it compares to Jerusalem, which is the book I really want.
