  1. hydroxychloroquine helps reduce inflammation. things people are usually told to avoid are alcohol and sun exposure. it can also cause muscle weakness and pain, if you experience those tell your doc. regular checks by the ophthalmologist on your retina health are important. it's a nice drug that can have some funky side affects or none at all. remember when trump told people to take it for covid creating a severe shortage of the drug? caused huge problems for the lupus community
  2. But tell us what we really want to know. Lee Majors cameo?
  3. i so want to try what she has but staten island.
  4. I'm generally someone who makes everything from scratch when cooking for myself or guests but the current tween demands for ramen, baked potato, broccoli and microwave mac and cheese (not the delicious from scratch baked kind) are driving me insane. I'd let them cook for themselves but they hate cooking and make a mess and are also very picky about the finished product. I like that this is a pretty one pot and mess containing system but everytime I look at the price and storage problem it will create I retreat. If it made truly good rice I could justify it since the rice cooker I desire is double the price of the the 12 piece set, but the rice cooker takes up a small amount of counter space I already don't have so where would I put a bunch of new bowls and lids. Anyone want my midcentury Limoges dessert collection?
  5. I know, I know but sometimes you have feed a kid in a hurry. Has anyone used these? I'm skeptical if it's worth the cost and storage space, but I'm also steaming lots of veggies and grains, lately.
  6. Sneak, I’m sorry about your diagnosis. Wishing you all the best with treatment and maintenance. As others have said, there’s new stuff everyday and I hope you find the path forward that works best for you.

  13. Yup crumbled matzoh is the kosher for passover style. The pasta looking ones are not KforP, I think those are the ones my grandmother referred to as "egg barley", though hers looked more broken.
  14. the service was incredible from start to finish, that kind of service is missing from so much of nyc dining. i miss it
  15. She started with the fougasse and cheese sauce and then the fried chicken which came with fries and a honey sauce. She had her sauce on the side. 3 days straight of pleading to go, so I caved. Then we went to MOMA. Than we had to stop to pick up sushi for second lunch at home
  16. Kid has been working her way up the chain and today it was a 2 Michelin star place. I have been impressed with how kind servers have been about her menu questions and requests. She ordered from the Bar Room menu in the main dining room, she whispered to me "because you know you can do that, if you ask and then they say yes"
  17. this is so not new news. if any of his investors read newspapers and magazines or talked to people in the food industry or watched netflix they would have know

  19. buddhism is still an option. The kid asked if i was doing passover this year. i laughed and laughed and laughed, then mentioned that she'd need to part with the bagels and the mac and cheese she requested
