Finished Frankenstein - absolutely stunning to look at (and not just the cast), a lot more gory than I was expecting, very solid over all. I haven't seen the original in so long that I can't even make much of a comparison. I remember Young Frankenstein a lot better. 🤣 Started Train Dreams. I'm not really sure what to make of this yet, although we're more than an hour in. Its pace and the somewhat meandering narrative put me in mind of Reichardt. And it's also beautifully shot. I'm getting very spoiled by art direction these past few days.

The third Knives Out. Did not really hold my interest. And we started Frankenstein, which is so stylish! Those HATS. Also a surprising amount of shirtlessness.

I felt similarly. Went there for lunch, got the soondubu jigae, it was fine. I did appreciate the free drinks, though - do they still have the barley tea and something else machine by the door?

Finished Pluribus. I was not all that impressed, although I was invested in what happened to the characters. I've seen so many similarly-themed series and movies, and there's just not that much that's new in this one.
