Apparently on the other board, this topic has "run its course..."   Uh, yeah....

Gotta agree with Cam...It WAS expensive. Anita got the Stadium burger. Yup. 'twas big.   Yup. Did the Wagyu upgrade.   Yup. Was about as expensive as the Burger at the Palace Kitchen .   Yee

That list makes me salivate. It's good to see you're still here, Jan! I see Lauren daily on Facebook, but have not talked to anyone from here for a few years!

If you want to hit Tacoma in the summer, I'm happy to organize. Is Connie still around? If so, maybe we can co-coordinate. My current burger infatuation is the Walker Burger at Maxwell's. BOTM already paid worship to the Asado burger, which remains one of my favorite burgers in all of Tacoma land, but they have a burger dip now that absolutely makes me swoon (and the yuca fries. Oh. God. The yuca fries! I want to make disgusting chomping noises whenever I think of them). Other options: The Bite at Hotel Murano makes a stellar burg, as does Crown Bar in the Sixth Avenue District (very close to where we dined at Asado).

I miss you people!

We miss you too! I think a BoM in Tacoma this summer sounds perfect. I see Connie on FB so I'll ask her if she's up for co-coordinating with you...

Oh, that is full of win. Let's plan on it. I'd rally for the Walker Burger at Maxwell's, but there certainly are plenty of other options.

I'll look for Connie on your FB page, too.

I'd also volunteer to organize a T-town taco truck outing this summer. We've got eight trucks in Tacoma proper worth a visit. Geographically, they're more spread out than the taco truck crawl I organized in Burien four or five years ago, but we could do four easily in one afternoon. Mmmmm. Carnitas.

Yay! Both of those sound great. It's been a long time since our last taco crawl and I missed the last Tacoma BOM.

The Tacoma/Pierce County restaurant scene has just improved so much in the last five years, and now we're home to so many worthwhile eateries. I'd love to be your ambassador. The drive sucks, but it's worth it to investigate down here once every three months or so.

The Korean eating district on South Tacoma Way just blows me away with all the great eating. I've often thought it's a hidden treasure outside of Tacoma.

Dang. Now I want a burger and it's not even noon yet....

Hrm, I wanted to try Re:public but their burger is only available at lunch. How about Toulouse Petit? I know we've all been there a bunch, but I have yet to hear a word about their burgers.

Tuesdays are bad for me, but I can try and make other days work.

I'm happy to give you Tacoma recommendations, just send me a message here. Or are you on Facebook? If so, you can find me through the FB pages of Connie or Lauren or Jan.'

what about monday the 21st or wednesday the 16th or 30th then? Also possible for me are thurs the 17th or 31st, or Friday the 25th

I'm a little concerned that Toulouse doesn't really have a good space for a larger group, but we can ask...

Well, people aren't jumping to go yet, so we might not have to worry about it. Anyone? You know you want a burger with a side of cheese grits!

All of those dates work for me except the 25th. Brett would come any but the 17th or the 30th.

I can do the 17th, 21st, 30th or 31st and I might be bringing a +1.

I recall Lauren tried to set us up for Toulouse recently and management was limited in seating a group, but we could always try again.
