I'm gutted by this shocking, sudden terrible news.

Interesting guy. I read an in-depth interview with him a few months ago. I thought it was in Brooklyn Rail but I can’t find it now.

He was featured on the Chicago episode of Dave Grohl’s HBO series a bunch of years back.

Vividly remember a Big Black show in Hamburg in 1986. The band threw a hissy fit about the sound at the club and stomped off the stage. Someone did something, and after a spell, they came back out and tore it up.

I didn’t know what to make of his recent interviews where he apologies for everything.

really like the big black and  rapeman records, and a lot of the metal he produced sounds amazing.
