A very random recommendation - we stopped by Puligny Montrachet because we already had plans for Paris and Lyon and then Pim suddenly announced a popup dinner at the COMO hotel*, where Montrachet - one of the fancy restaurants in town - is. Dinner was lovely and it was great to see her again after a long while (although I think we're now officially recruited for harvest in NZ), and we were gifted ajar of incredible Nam Prik, but more usefully I wanted to recommend Caveau de Puligny-Montrachet which is nominally a wine shop but realistically the town pub - except other than lager you can drink Montrachet 1er Cru btg or buy bottles of Grand Cru from the best producers.
On the way I was reminded of the many times we stopped at Chagny station and got someone from Lameloise to come pick us up. I sort of want to go back there but also worried about what it's like vs 20+ years ago.
* apparently Nahm, her Bangkok restaurant is at the COMO hotel there.
