Back on the old version of Mouthfuls I raved about the TimeStack Quadruple Timer and I wanted to point out that it's currently on sale. Having four timers is great. But what really raises this to a new level is that you can record for each timer what it's beeping for. For example, last week when I was baking hamenstaschen I set four timers - two for when I needed to turn around the sheet pans and the others for when baking was done. And when beeped, there was no confusion. My voice memo made it clear what my instruction was.

I use my cell phone as a timer, which gives me an unlimited number of timers, all with a memo function.

If you do any roasting in the oven, it comes in quite handy.

How long is the wire that connects the probe to the base? I think I need to replace my current meat thermometer.

Almost 4 feet, I think.
