two out of four in that top chef masters photo have passed away untimely.

 

(well, i'm assuming the woman in the red top is still with us; des jardins is quoted in the obit.)

ah yes.

i mostly remember that edition of top chef masters (was there another?) for suvir's extremely cringe-inducing exit from it.

Me too! My brother and I watched it together. The golden days of the Food Network-- Taste, Grillin and Chillin, Molto Mario, Ming Tsai, Emeril Live, How to Boil Water, Cooking Live with Sara Moulton.....Two Fat Ladies.....
