I knew the bullpen game was going to be a mess, but I didn't think it would be this bad.

John Smoltz. Does he ever shut up? And game after game he tells us what the next pitch will be and why, at that granular level, and he’s usually wrong.

I’ve watched a lot on mute because of him.

Thunderous fireworks are exploding all over LA.  Let's face it, the Yanks shot themselves in the foot with various miscues and mental errors.  Still, credit is due to Roberts' management skills in pulling this game out.

Freeman's 12 RBIs in 5 games equaled Bobby Richardson's 12 in 7 games in 1960.

The defensive errors were awful. They did stuff kids who play little league are taught no to do.
