I may be hallucinating, or extrapolating from someone else's experience, but I have this recollection that I was at Le Coucou one night when he was also there.

If I'm remembering right, it made it hard to eat.

He was supposed to be wheeled out at an event I was supposed to attend recently, but neither of us was well enough to go (I had COVID, not sure about him). And he was lucky, 'cause I definitely would've tried something.

My wife met him at Carnegie Hall not long ago at an event for the Chinese Government. At least they still seemed to like him. That's someone.
