StephanieL
Slices of the rye bread I bought in Copenhagen, topped with salted butter and a couple of small tomatoes from our garden.
rozrapp
Watermelon, peaches, and feta salad with Champagne vinegar vinaigrette The peaches come to us from Pearson Farm, in Georgia (free delivery). I discovered them during the pandemic lockdown. Their peaches were fabulous. Since then, I've been ordering from them several times every year. Currently, they are shipping "Julyprince" freestones. So sweet and juicy!

Wilfrid
I woke up Saturday morning with some leftover, cooked sausage.* I knew I had a biscuit. Half awake, I looked at some sausage gravy recipes. Still half awake, I made one: melted butter, nut-based creamer stirred in, a pinch of powdered chicken stock, a larger pinch of almond flour, stir still smooth, add the finely diced sausage, pour over warmed biscuit halves. Surprisingly good. Traditionally you’d start with raw, broken up sausage meat, but I was where I was. Oh and probably home-made stock too. *Not like, next to it. I just thought of it in the fridge. StephanieL
Wise Sons do make excellent bialys. Sometimes As Kneaded Bakery in San Leandro has them (the owner is Jewish), but they're much larger than your average bialy.
