I didn't wear eyeliner until 7th grade AND I had to sneak it out of the house

Waves to you from over here by her locker, where she stashed the Candies she bought surreptitiously because they "make you look like a prostitute." In retrospect, of course, they did.

The girls need to get with fart jokes.

Perhaps this goes under "Things that make you laugh" but the phrase the boy has been using lately is NUT CUP to describe a piece of his protective sports gear. I'm not sure what it says about me, but I think it's hysterical.

That's because it is funny.

Someone was talking about Doc and Merle Watson here recently.

By now, the Tennessee Stud and the Tennessee Mare must have great-grandchildren.

Even great-great.

That must've been me, as I recently saw the tribute to Doc for his 100th birthday at the Rubin Museum.

Tennessee Stud...

We've already gone thru a box or so & have stocked up on them for continued pleasure.

So, given Sneak's comment about intentional non-reproducing -- of the most recognizable posters here on MF, anyone ever take a look at the % who didn't/don't have offspring?  I'd say its pretty far over the average, no?

In related news, I have completed my "so you wanna marry a Catholic" training and know everything I need to know about Catholic-marrying. Ask me about Natural Family Planning! Now ask me why I had to even pay attention to that part, because reasons!

Count me amongst the intentional non-reproducers.

I’d never had Mallomars before. But given the love for them here, I picked up a box at ShopRite this morning — regularly $5.49, on sale @$3.99. I’ll report back when I try them.

Re: offspring. We chose to have only one. She and our son-in-law have none by choice. Ergo, no grandkids for us.

I share that impression, but I never really counted.
