Rudy Giuliani (America's favorite bigoted ghoul alcoholic traitor) found liable for around 150 million dollars in damages for defaming elections staff in Georgia. Hopefully he will have some change left for the million plus he can't pay his attorneys. Couldn't happen to a more deserving guy.

Food shopping is done. Present shopping is done. House is en route to being clean. Laundry is in the dryer. Balcony is as attractive as it's gonna get, considering the plants are half dead.

Came home from a long day shopping to find my fellow tenants hosting a holiday party in the lobby. Music, an enormous container of rum punch, cookies (I ate one) and lots of home-baked cakes. I knew most of my neighbors but was awed by how long some of them have been here — including one born here, 60 years.

I used to enjoy our building's holiday parties.  Lots of cheese and such from Costco, and trays of lasagna and baked ziti from a local Italian restaurant.

This is one of those perfect moments. I walked 125th Street to see the Harlem lights; paused to tell social media that the Apollo sign is missing it’s second “l.” 

Now in Barawine, my local when I had a place on 120th and they are playing “Teardrops,” which I have always loved and actually have (uselessly) on vinyl.

When our daughter came back from Paris last summer, she brought us these gifts. She knows what we like, especially me. (She has brought back wine for Michael in the past.)

Sure, the Lions-49ers game was exciting. But I lost my voice screaming at the boy's hockey game last evening vs. New Rochelle. Team was down 7-5 with a few minutes left. One shortie, a pulled goalie to tie the game with less than 10 seconds remaining and goal to win with .4 left on the clock was up there with any playoff game I've seen.

I picked up 3 pounds of assorted charcuterie yesterday. Looking forward to indulging. (you should have seen how excited the kid was when I told him)
